From time to time we may post items of interest not easily posted on the District's Rotary website. Documents may be posted in forms other than HTML and may be viewed by referring to the following:
Example: Sample Word Document (click on it to open Word Document).
Or pdf format (requires Acrobat Reader plugin).
Example: Sample Excel Document (click on it to open Excel Document).
Or pdf format (requires Acrobat Reader plugin).
Remember, you must have the Microsoft Word, Excel, ...etc or other programs or their viewer installed to use those documents in their native formats.
They may open with the standard Open, Save,Cancel,More Info pop up window. Select Open. You may then read, correct, or modify them as you like and save them on your own computer. Make sure to mail me a corrected document if it needs to be replaced or posted on the website.
If you don't have the native program or viewer or merely want to read them then it's probably simpler to use the conventional PDF format usable by all when an Adobe PDF file is available.
A PDF extension indicates those files are in Adobe Acrobat format and may require the plug-in. This
program is from a free and secure site. It takes only a few moments
to download. Click on the Adobe Logo and follow the directions.
If the Power Point application is not on your machine here is a link to Microsoft to download its viewer. Power Point presentations are popular with many of our presentors, and they may be easily posted for your reference. I'd recommend installing it so you will be able to enjoy the materials on ours and other sites.
A PPT extension indicates those files are in Power Point. This viewer program is free and from a trusted Microsoft site. It takes only a few moments
to download. Click on the Power Point Logo and follow the directions.
